A popular talk of the town (城市话题) : FLU. Therefore, I’m going to post about my FLU (Fast Latest Updates).

After my last impromptu entry (as of 1 January 2009), here’s some flash highlights.

• Being involved more in some film-related projects, as a freelance after given a chance in a feature film last year.
  Did Production Assistant (PA), and help out in a Kids Drama (with BigCom).
  Have help out as an Art Assistant with an Art Director.
  Doing Movie Screenings with Sinema.
  Done some editing jobs with a Production Company, FilmMall
  Did some Camera Assistant jobs, with FilmMall too.

  Did some jobs, as being editor and PA and kena con on pay.
  The company (PokerFace Productions and Kinemat) respectively, conned my pay. What to do? I’m fresh and new then. Learn to be smarter now. 虽然被骗，但我长一智。这就是生活哲学吧!

• More exciting exposures in the film industry.
  Did the most recent subway drama, 星光依旧灿烂 (A Starry Night).
  Great and fun working with the Taiwan crews, and great to know them. (Hope to visit them in Taiwan n Shanghai soon, next year).
  Good experience, learn a lot new stuffs, and have FUN to drink with them.

• Get to know more friends. Gain more friends, true friends, great friends.
  From my 1st feature film production, and all following production friends.
  Thanks for the chances given, Thanks for the supports and Thanks for being my great friends. I love you all.

  There are some from the popular site, FaceBook. Who say beware of online friends? But I’m luckily enuff to found some true friends.
  Thanks for all your encouragements, Thanks for all the fun and happiness, and Thanks for all helps whenever I need.
  You know who you are. 尤其是美女（Uncle 要谢谢你）

  And, there’s this kind and nice lady, who have been chatting with me for the past 2 wks. She’s is special and unique. Thanks for being my friend.

  Sincerely thanks to all who made an impact in my life, and all the helps rendered, all the supports when I need it most.

• Lost a very beloved close one.
  It happen too sudden, and is extreme saddening. This feeling is very hard to describe, very regretful, and I’ll tell everyone to cherish everyone around you. The sadden is in me, but I’m coping well. No worry.

• Given a chance by a great friend, to experience on documentary (Scene City).
  Enjoy myself, with the places we went for shoot. Enjoy working with the crews and casts.

Just back from Kuala Lumpur yesterday, brave myself there alone specially for someone, to relax and hopefully, for 我的幸福.

Muscle and strength were used up after moving all the props and production barang barang thingy around, for the whole afternoon.

Final Decision. Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for dinner.

Intial plan was to Kallang Stadium outlet, cause of the free flow drinks. But, didn’t expect an overflow of crowds. Somehow remembering the Kallang Leisure Park had an outlet too, I 假厉害 thought it will be a better place, with more seats. Ended up, we have to race in Daytona, as to wait for a ger and 10 vacant seats, that is together.

The night is still young. Wee jio to go prawning at the Sin Ming place. There’s this gay guy (D) then suggest we can go to this best roti prata shop at Casuarina Rd, after the prawning session.

Not a production day, but we don’t mind staying out late for fun. LOL! 
And how can I miss out FUN? I’m ON. So, was the rest.

After 3hrs passed… With everyone efforts, we have managed to catch enough to share among us, with at least 2 per pax. LOL!

It was almost 1am. Some start feeling tired and was staying at the east. Yet, D try to psycho us again that we MUST try this No. 1 BEST roti prata at Casuarina Rd.

You MUST eat this roti prata once in your lifetime. It’s the BEST! No. 1. Else, you will regret.
REALLY! REALLY~! I’m SERIOUS!

Disappointed! The place was closed for the day.

Ended, he brought us to this 2nd best Roti Prata House along Upper Thomson Rd. Have been there before several times, but I still find the shop at Jln Kayu taste better. Ok, will try the ’BEST’ as per his claim one day. 

Another night out, on a non-production day. Really enjoy to be with you all.

MISS you ger and guys.

Yoz! Woo la-la!! Is 2008. and is my favourite number.

I started off my year more Cool, knowing some new frenz. And more Fun, going clubs hopping on the struck of 12 mn. So enjoyable, Happy 2008.

Don’t expect me to write any new year resolutions, I dun practice that. Just live with my theory: Cool, Fun and Happy!

I had my 1st movie for year 2008 and an enjoyable time with my ‘wife’, A.

The Warlord (投名状)

The two bandits are his sworn blood brothers: Zhao Er-Hu (starring Andy Lau) and Jiang Wu-Yang (starring by Takeshi Kaneshiro). The woman who comes between them is Zhao’s wife Lian (starring by Xu Jinglei)…

The story, not bad. Talking about brotherhood, betraying, setting up for fame. The shoot is clear, and u really can see ‘real’ legs and head been ’cut off’. The ending is quite sad, but good for a thinkers. But is just kinda long, and abit draggy in the middle where they talk about military strategy.

Anyway, worth the watch.

Next to go, National Treasure: Book of Secrets. A MUST watch, cos I like the 1st story of National Treasure.

每次进來看，又是一樣的。沒有 update.

你們應該是這樣想吧。對不起la，最近比較忙。加上 national day, 有點 holiday mood，要忙着約人過 holiday. Haiz.. 可是，徒勞無功。

I can see my hit counter are running, at least I know people are still coming in daily. In order not to disappoint them, I must better start writing something.

well, since 明天沒人約，I will back-dated *again!* my previous post. It’s Saturday!

Hey frenz, quite long time no see/meet-up. I tot of planning a bbq gathering session on the 1st wkend of oct. However, I wanna know how ‘popular’ is it 1st b4 I go ahead preparation. 

Why on the 1st weekend of Oct? Coz not too long or too fast. Too long, can’t confirm and going to be sch holiday. Too fast, no time for preparation.

No concrete plan yet, just a rough idea. Unless, I got popular demand.

1. This bbq session will be a simple one, with the main objective is to meet up, tok c***, sing song, play mahjong.
    
2. No intention of a chalet stay. Unless, by popular demand and with sponsors.
    
3. Can’t last minute put aeroplane.
   ah bo.. I’ll mati due to over-eat of bbq foods. I’m alway v dao mei, so I v scare ppl put aeroplane (didn’t turn up).

Arghhh…~!!! No repsonse for my Movie Treat. Free movies leh!

I juz enjoy watching movies. Hoping if anyone have not watch it, can watch with me. Juz then, I got this free preview screening tixs for 男兒本色。 I think you all should know that I have unsucessfully invite anyone to watch it with me.

But then, I got a date for watching Harry Porter. J read my entry and remember my movie treat. We talk about it, and arrange for a movie session + dinner session when she’s back to SG. So, at least I got someone accompany me to watch movie. Mayb next week?
