A day before cooling off day

Before I go any further, I emphasize that I’m NEITHER for NOR against any parties at this point of time.

Let’s just let our imagination run wild..

Let says:
Opposition parties won at least 45 seats.
But do you know there will be at least 3 opposition parties in parliament?

So next,

  1. Who shall be the next PM?
  1. Who will be heading Ministry of Defence
  2. Who will be heading Ministry of Education
  3. Who will be heading Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources
  4. Who will be heading Ministry of Finance
  5. Who will be heading Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  6. Who will be heading Ministry of Health
  7. Who will be heading Ministry of Home Affairs
  8. Who will be heading Ministry of Law
  9. Who will be heading Ministry of Manpower
  10. Who will be heading Ministry of National Development
  11. Etc..

Can we see a picture now?

This is not a game of money matters only.
It involves life, the safety and security, preventing of weird virus, foreign affairs, etc.
Are you comfortable enough to reset back to 50 years?

Quoting a statement from late Mr. Lee.
“Whoever governs Singapore must have that iron in him. Or give it up.
This is not a game of cards. This is your life and mine.
I’ve spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I’m in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.”

I believe when he mention is not a game of cards, is our life and his. He could probably seen it.

Perspective

  1. the art of representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other.

  2. a particular attitude towards or way of regarding something; a point of view.

September 11, is a date we will vote to decide the future of Singapore.

Was looking through different parties news from all across the social media, and local official media. There are heated debates and moments of fury and angst, which are unavoidable. I notice everyone has been talking on a common thing, which is MONEY.

CPF = MONEY
Cost of Living = MONEY
Salary = MONEY
Giving elderly monthly $500 = MONEY
Taxes = MONEY

I don’t deny the fact that money is necessary in this modern world we are living.

But we miss to look at something that is very fragile, LIFE

We can’t deny the fact that terrorism threat and health treats exists across the world.
Not forgetting the 911 incident of the attack of US World Trade Center.
SARS, the recent MERS and the recent Bangkok bombing incident.

Just a blast, no matter how much million or billion you have, no matter how small or big house is, everything will be gone.

If money is so important, the safety and security of Singapore is not important?

Sitting too high will not let you see clearly what’s beneath.
Sitting too low will neither let you see clearly what’s above.
We will not deny that Singapore need a team of capable leaders, who can see at different perspective from high above and feel from low bottom.

A stalk of red rose, still have some green leaf.
A field of greenery, there’s still a need of water and the soil.
A white paper written with white ink is invisible, there’s still a need of alternate color.
